Mora County, NM

The Heart of Northern New Mexico, Mora County was formed in 1860. The presence of Fort Union in Mora County drove the economy of Mora County and it because know as the bread basket of New Mexico. Fort Union was a supply depot for all other forts in the area. Mora County was the first in the US to ban oil and gas drilling on public and private lands. Mora County joins the Triadic Mass Pay System so that payer and Tax Servicers can conduct their research outside of contacting the office as well as to centralize collections.
