LaPorte County was formed in 1832. It was so named since at the time the natural openings in the dense forests that existed at the time provided a gateway to lands further west. LaPorte County IN is using the Low Associates Escrow Pay system to assist with the collection of Escrow property tax payments. The expect to take full advantage of the system and create visibility between escrow payers and Tax Servicers to stop refunds and duplicate payments.
